FQDN

FQDN stands for "Fully Qualified Domain Name". A FQDN is used to uniquely identify a device in the tree hierarchy of the Domain Name System (DNS). A FQDN consists of the hostname of the device and its parent domain name. For example, given a device with a local hostname myhost and a parent domain name example.com, the fully qualified domain name is myhost.example.com
