MobileID

MobileID is a small app running on mobile devices, typically smart phones, that generates the so-called one-time password for the poupose of two-factor authentication.

Before the age of mobile phone devices, users would use a dedicated hardware device to generate one-time password(OTP). This type of device is called "hardware token" or "hard-token". Natually, MobileID is refered as a "software token" or "soft-token" because it is a software app instead of a piece of dedicated hardware.

MobileID is a product of Deepnet Security. It is available for all types of phones and tablets, as well as Windows desktop and USB flash drives.
